Now is the time for Land Surveying on Cape Cod!!! The daffodils are starting to show through the frosty ground, the weather is warming up and the snow has melted (for now at least!)

Our work load is picking up somewhat with projects still coming in the door. We have mostly projects in Barnstable County but we are still stretching our reach throughout Southeastern MA, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

We have certainly neglected our web page updates! We missed the holidays including our visitors!
We had a nice visit freom Bryon Baker of Frontier Presicion, out west from CO over Christmas. We did some water fowl hunting together, Bryon got the first one!

New Years Eve was quiet and uneventful.

We wrapped up testimony on the 100 acre Harwich case that I have been working on since 2004. A sudden find by the client of a 12' x 6' map hanging on the wall of The Registry of Deeds showing the Cape Cod Railroad in 1865 may have a huge impact on the outcome of the trial! Go Freeman!!

Last Monday I had the pleasure of speaking to the "Joint Undergraduate Mathematics and SIAM Chapter Seminar" at UMASS Dartmouth. SIAM is the Society for Industrial and Applied Math.
There were about 25 students that listened to my one hour presentation on land surveying and the various math applications that we get to use on a daily basis.

I did demonstrate the various tools of the trade, such as an older K&E Paragon Transit, my Leica TCR1105, and the Sokkia GSR 2700ISX GPS equipment.
