Now is the time for Land Surveying on Cape Cod!!! The daffodils are starting to show through the frosty ground, the weather is warming up and the snow has melted (for now at least!) Our work load is picking up somewhat with projects still coming in the door. We have mostly projects in Barnstable County but we are still stretching our reach throughout Southeastern MA, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. MALSCE activities are picking up. The local chapter will have it's April meeting on the 8th at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster. This is our member appreciation meeting with a free catered dinner for the members. We do have National Surveyors Week coming up at the end of the month. We, the National and Local Surveyors groups, are actively petitioning President Obama for a proclamation the week prior to the National Surveyors week. On other non-work related news, Dawn and I recently returned from a quick trip to Iceland! It is a remarkable and beautiful country and I highly recommend a visit to anyone. |
